Harry “Skip” Milby III, 60, of Piqua, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 5, 1960 in San Jose, California to Marilyn (Lewetzow) Milby of Troy and the late Harry Milby Jr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Cecelia “Bernice” (John) Martin of Piqua; his nieces and nephew, Latisha (Dave Cohen) Seger of Troy, Matthew Seger of Pleasant Hill, Kylie (Aaron) Chapman of Vincennes, Indiana; his great nephews and great niece, Jalend Joyal, A’Janae Davis, and Owen Seger; also many other relatives and friends.
Harry was a graduate of Troy High School and the Upper Valley JVS Class of 1978. He attended the Lost Creek United Church of Christ in Christiansburg. He was a Tool Maker for D-A-M Machine & Tool for 9 years. Skip was well known as “The Pumpkin Man” and had a passion for working on his farm and providing beautiful pumpkins and produce to everyone. In service to the Lord he loved, he offered much of his time and resources to give to Operation Rebirth in St. Paris, where he mentored and volunteered to help with their mission of guiding youths in the area.
A service to honor his life will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Living Word Fellowship (947 N. Market St. Troy, OH 45373) with Pastors Jill Patel and Paul Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, also at the church. Funeral arrangements are being provided to this family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
