GREGORY "BUTCH" A. SILVERS

Gregory A. "Butch" Silvers, 64, of Piqua, passed away at 10:45 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2025 at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County. He was born April 12, 1961 in Piqua to Ronald K. Silvers of Piqua, and the late Barbara Jean (Schneider) Silvers. He married Greta A. (Booher) Silvers in 2005 and she preceded him in death February 1, 2015.

Butch is also survived by two sisters, Cathy (Brian) Abbott, and Beth DeBrosse, all of Piqua; four nieces and nephews, Rachael Abbott, Shawn (Ashley) Silvers, Jessica (Sam) Stager, and Adam DeBrosse; also many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother in law, Dan DeBrosse.

Butch was a graduate of Piqua Central High School, Class of 1979. He loved animals and always had dogs as pets. Butch enjoyed watching Westerns, the Cleveland Browns, and enjoyed the outdoors and liked to spend time going fishing or camping.

A graveside service to honor his life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2025 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Keith Gebhart officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
