GARY POLLOCK Obituary

Gary J. Pollock, 48, of Fairborn, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 20, 2023. He was born October 3, 1974 in Sidney to Gary “Tiny” Stockton of Sidney and Suellen (Bishop) Jones of Dayton.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his dad, David Pollock of Vandalia; four sisters, Leslie Strand of Sidney, Lynnette Kitchen of Urbana, Trisha Johnson of Sidney, Michelle Stockton of Springfield; a brother, Shawn Kitchen of Urbana; his special friend, Tristan Pernell, and her children, Halle Pernell, Gavin Ritheman; and three aunts, Wanda Herndon of Sidney, Karen Thompson of Sidney, and Betty (Richard) Clark of Piqua. He is also survived by a “brother-cousin” Brian Miller of Chicago, Illinois, along with several other cousins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Ciara Grace Saunier. He was preceded in death by two aunts, Norma Miller, Brenda Stockton; and his beloved chihuahua, Jack.

Gary was a 1993 graduate of John Marshall High School in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wright State University in 1997 and earned a full scholarship to the University of Cincinnati Medical School. He worked as the manager of Speedway in Fairborn. Gary loved anything and everything to do with Star Wars. He enjoyed gaming, singing karaoke and absolutely loved music. He will be deeply missed.

A private service to honor his life will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
