Garry L. Lambert, 68, of Piqua, passed away at 6:22 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born October 8, 1953 in Piqua to the late John and Mary Jane (Brumfield) Lambert. He married Debra S. Snyder and she preceded him in death September 27, 2017.
Survivors include a daughter, Lindsay Lambert of Piqua; two sons, Brian (Denise) Lambert of Willard, Jason (Mara) Lambert of Piqua; eight grandchildren, Alexandria Taylor, Courtney Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor, Hannah Lambert, Jackson Lambert, Kacey Gambill, Ashtyn Wilson, Tristyn Frazier; one great grandchild, Aela Mireles; and three brothers, James (Cheryl) Lambert of Sidney, Howard (Pam) Lambert, Mark (Susan) Lambert, both of Piqua. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Laura Russell and Deborah Bailey.
Mr. Lambert was a graduate of Piqua High School. He worked as an assembler for Hobart/ITW and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. He was active as a Scout Leader for the Boy Scouts of America for over twelve years. He also coached little league baseball, softball and soccer. He loved to watch sports of all kinds, especially the Cincinnati Bengals, Ohio State Football and the Cincinnati Reds. He loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Daniel P. Hunt as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church, 310 S. Downing St. Piqua, OH 45356.
