ELLIS R. W. "BUBBY" GREGG

Ellis R. W. "Bubby" Gregg, 59 of Piqua, passed away at 6:42 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2022 at Ayden Healthcare. He was born February 24, 1963 in Piqua to the late Richard and Irene (Turner) Gregg.

Survivors include one son, Justin (Kelly) Jones of Maineville; four grandchildren, Haley Kelbel, Parker Kelbel, Caleb Jones, and James Jones; four sisters, Rena (John) Ridener of Science Hill, Kentucky, Elizabeth (Craig) Schindel of Conover, Tamara Shepherd, and Kelly Bullock both of Piqua; also many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Ellis attended Hardin Houston Schools and went to work at the T. Marzetti Company in Columbus for over 15 years. He enjoyed owning and firing guns, he was a lover of cars old and new, and enjoyed going fishing in his free time. He liked to visit yard sales with his sisters and see what treasures could be found. Ellis had a hard life and graduated with honors from the School of Hard Knocks. Nevertheless, he was a child of God, saved by the grace of God and was a faithful Christian through and through.

A celebration of life to honor Ellis will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Hollow Park. The family will receive friends and hold a luncheon from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. also at Hollow Park. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
