EDWARD L. MANN JR.

Edward L. Mann, Jr., 65, of Piqua, passed away at 12:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born March 24, 1959 in Piqua to the late Edward L. and Cynthia A. (Clark) Mann, Sr.

Survivors include two sisters, Pam (Don) Palmer, and Diane Miller, all of Piqua; four nephews, Christopher Shannon, Nicholas (Judy) Shannon, Gary (Samantha) Miller, and Andrew Miller; four great nieces; two great nephews; and one great great niece. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Richard Shannon.

Ed was a graduate of Piqua Central High School, Class of 1978. He worked as an Over-The-Road Trucker for 20 years, and then for F&P America. Ed was a longtime member of the Piqua Moose Lodge, and a member of the Troy Moose Lodge. He was a huge football fan, especially of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He liked to watch football of any kind, and collected various kinds of sports memorabilia. Ed never met a stranger, and was very generous and loved to give to others. In his giving spirit, Ed loved Christmas and enjoyed playing Santa for relatives and at the nursing home. Ed will surely be missed by all who loved him.

A service to honor Ed's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Troy Moose Lodge (511 N. Elm St., Troy, Ohio 45373). Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
