Edith F. Elliott, 91, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Ayden Healthcare of Piqua. She was born December 19, 1933 in Sidney to the late Roy and Ethel (Boroff) Anderson. She married Robert L. Elliott March 20, 1954 and he preceded her in death February 16, 1994.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy (Mike Powers) Black of Piqua; four grandchildren, Mandy (Shane) Hinkle, Ashley (Patrick) Campbell, Adam Black, Jessica Elliott; seven great grandchildren, Paige, Drew, Landry, Aubrey, Kennedy, Cole, Roen; and a brother, George Anderson of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by two sons, David Elliott, Ronald Elliott; a grandson, Robert “B.J.” Elliott; and a sister, Ann Sapp.
Mrs. Elliott was a graduate of Holy Angels High School. She worked for the former Norcold Incorporated for over 17 years before she retired. She enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles, and bowling. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors; especially while tending to her gardens, fishing, and bird watching. She loved going to lunch with her ladies group as well as attending antique car clubs with her late husband. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
A private graveside service to honor her life will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
