DUAINE L. CAMPBELL

Duaine L. Campbell, 76, of Piqua, passed away at 8:05 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy. He was born January 17, 1949 in Piqua to the late LeRoy G. and S. Joan (Vance) Campbell. He married Rebecca Bausman June 5, 1971 in Piqua and she survives.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Pat & Kim Campbell of Piqua; two grandchildren, Aiden Campbell and Sophie Campbell; sister, Connie & David Oakes of Covington and Navy buddy which he considers his brother, Cliff Swartz & his wife, Valerie and family.

Mr. Campbell worked for Hartzell Propeller for over 36 years in experimental engineering as a test lab technician. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict in which he was an E-5 rank navy aviation electrician. Duaine was a member of the Upper Valley Fun Flyers. He loved to visit Fort Myers Florida with his wife Rebecca. Duaine was of the Christian faith.

A service to honor his life will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Kris Geise as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery with full military honors presented by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio Hospice of Miami County P.O.
