DENNIS HOWARD YANTIS

Dennis H. Yantis, 62, of Sidney, formerly of Piqua, passed away at 2:34 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Momentus Health in Sidney. He was born July 25, 1960 in Piqua to the late Lawrence Freeman and Lucy Mae (Gibson) Yantis.

Survivors include four children, Aaron Yantis, Kevin (Harlie) Yantis, Brandon Yantis, and Andrew (Kyra) Yantis; the mother of his children, Ann Staley; six grandchildren; one brother, Larry (Geraldine) Yantis of Sidney; and one sister-in-law, Frances Yantis of Sidney. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Donald Yantis Sr., Patty Loraine, and Darlene Kay.

Dennis was a longtime faithful member of Abiding In His Word Ministries and really enjoyed attending and spending time with his church family. Dennis most recently worked at NK Parts and Freshway Foods. Dennis was always a sports fan, and loved to watch football, especially Ohio State, Iowa Hawkeyes, and his Denver Broncos. He was very close with his brothers and family, and enjoyed going out for coffee or just riding around in the car.

A graveside service to honor his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Paul Brown officiating.
