DEBORAH J. FLAUTE

Deborah J. Flaute, 64, of Piqua, passed away at 4:20 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Piqua Manor. She was born September 24, 1958 in Piqua to Dorothy (Willcox) Jamison of Piqua and the late Stewart R. Jamison. She married Leo N. Flaute October 16, 1976 in Piqua and he preceded her in death February 21, 2008.

Other survivors include two sons, Robbie (Sarah) Flaute of Piqua, and Brad (Julie) Flaute of Troy; three grandchildren, Avery, Asher, and Syler Flaute; seven siblings, Stewart (Laura) Jamison of Florida, Mike Jamison of Covington, Robin (Doug) Reed of Piqua, Lori Weidner of Piqua, Jessie (Laurie) Jamison of Florida, Cassie Jamison of West Mansfield, and Robert Jamison of Piqua; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband, two sons, Jeremy and Steven Flaute, and her sister in law, Paulette Jamison.

Debbie was a graduate of Piqua Central High School Class of 1976. She formerly attended St. Mary Catholic Church. Debbie worked in the cafeteria at Piqua Junior High and at Piqua High School for many years. She loved to cook and bake for her family as well. She enjoyed camping at the former Heritage Festival, taking the yearly family trip out to Colorado, gardening, and crocheting. Debbie loved to spend time with her family and friends and she will surely be missed.

A service to honor her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Stewart Jamison officiating. Burial will follow the service at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, also at the funeral home.
