DAWN N. JENNINGS

Dawn N. Jennings, 52, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2024 in the comfort of her home. She was born September 18, 1972 in Dayton to Dimi Hill of Piqua and the late Gary L. Youngerman. She married Jeffrey S. Jennings May 7, 1994 in Piqua; and he survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Justin (Lauren) Jennings of Piqua, Derek (Bre Kessler) Jennings of Piqua; three grandchildren, Beau, Annamarie, Lincoln; and a brother, David (Karen) Youngerman of Boulder, Colorado.

Mrs. Jennings was a 1990 graduate of Troy High School. She then went on to earn her Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Ohio Northern University. She enjoyed learning and expanding her knowledge of her field and obtained many certificates over the years as well as becoming a Certified Fraud Investigator. She worked as an accountant for Crayex for over 10 years. She enjoyed painting, especially with watercolors and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed taking family trips to Florida and Minnesota to visit her family members. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed tending to her gardens. Additionally, she loved to attend concerts with her family, especially whenever she had the chance to see her favorite band, Tesla. She also loved animals and rescued many dogs over the years and gave them the best life she could. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and many friends.

A service to honor her life will begin at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with close family friend Michal Bosse officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Animal Shelter, 1110 N.
