David L. Collins, 56, of Troy, passed away after a short battle with leukemia Monday, December 29, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born on September 10, 1969, in Piqua, to the late Harry Collins and Gladys (Grisez) Roth, who survives.
Survivors include four siblings, Veronica (Dean) Miller of Fort Wayne, Indiana, William “Alan” Collins of Piqua, Steven (Beth) Collins of Piqua, Joe Collins of Piqua and step-father, Jim Imboden.
David was a self-employed construction worker who specialized in roofing. He enjoyed collecting and driving his many classic cars. David was an avid cat lover and he leaves behind his beloved cat, Lucy.
A service to honor his life will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Keith Gebhart officiating.
