DARYL K. SIBERT

Daryl K. Sibert, 58, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 7:50 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 19, 1965 in Dayton to Daryl and Roseanne (Switzer) Sibert of West Milton. He married Carla (Philipps) Sibert December 2, 2006 in West Milton and she survives.

Other survivors include five children, Philip (Angela) Russell of Covington, Johnny (Lillian) Russell of St. Paris, Brian Sibert of Sidney, Brittany (Thomas) Wills of Laura, and Nick (Amanda) Haney of Piqua; thirteen grandchildren; two siblings, Darren Sibert and Nadine (Ron) Hoblit all of West Milton; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Daryl was a graduate of West Milton High School, Class of 1984. He worked as the Foundry Supervisor at Hi Tech Castings in New Carlisle and started there in 1988. Daryl was a faithful member of House on the Rock Church. He was a member of the Covington Eagles for more than a decade, and was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Reds. Daryl and Carla's favorite getaway spot was Clearwater Beach, Florida and many lasting memories were made there. Daryl enjoyed relaxing in the pool at the house and spending time with his family. He will surely be missed by all who loved him.

A special time to honor Daryl's life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. A remembrance service will be held for Daryl at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Paul Hickernell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, 3230 N.
