DALONTE K. PARKS

Dalonte K. Parks, 30, of Huber Heights, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney. He was born February 16, 1996 in Dayton to Kendra Graves and Delon Parks. He was like a son to his special grandmother, Sheila Turner.

Dalonte is also survived by three sisters, Jaykera Haley, Nia Parks, and Denizia Hawes; his special sister Shunna Gay; his nieces and nephew, Anyla, Ayleigh, Aylivia, and Mayjor; his aunt, April Graves; his uncles, Ronald, Kevin, and Ric; special cousins, Aireana and Jayla; his step-father, Shawn Gay; his brother in law, Marcus Haley; and his special friends Mikey, Perry, John, Davin, and Christian; also numerous other cousins, relatives, and many friends.

Dalonte was a graduate of Piqua High School, Class of 2014. He had a passion for singing and loved music, and really enjoyed older music as well. He cherished his family and enjoyed getting together whenever they could, and he especially loved spending time with his nieces and nephew. He was an overseer of the family and was affectionately known as "Uncle P" to his nieces and nephew. Dalonte loved the Lord and did his best to serve Him. He enjoyed most all sports but his favorite team was the Indianapolis Colts. Dalonte will be forever loved by all who knew him.

A service to honor his life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Ted C. Willis Jr. and Rev. Cheryl Willis officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026 also at Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
