CLARA M. YOUNG

Clara M. Young, 91, of Piqua, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville. She was born on June 24, 1934, in Stearns, Kentucky, to the late Lester and Ruth (Frady) Hall.

Survivors include five children, Danny (Debbie) Young of Sidney, Christopher (Christina) Young of Wayne Lakes, Lonnie (Pamela) Young of Bradford, Wendell (Cheryl) Young of Sidney, Dwaine (Polly) Young of Stearns, Kentucky; three sisters, Sue, Joyce, Alene; ten grandchildren, Shelia, Gary, Shauda, Rusty, Ashleigh, Jeremy, Kimi, Jason, Amanda, Allana and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, Ronnie Young; daughter, Frances Hubbard and seven siblings, Nelson, John, Roger, Leroy, Helen, Alama Jo and Ruby.

Clara retired from Hartzell Propeller LLC after working for over 30 years as a toolmaker. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and canning vegetables. In her early years, she would go boating with her mother, Ruth at St. Marys Lake.

A service to honor her life will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor Jason Hill officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
