CHARLES R. "CHUCK" FLAHARTY

Charles R. "Chuck" Flaharty, 70, of Piqua passed away at 11:43 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born December 18, 1950 in Piqua to the late Kenneth and Norma (Poling) Flaharty. He married Kathy J. Gambill June 12, 1999 in Piqua; she survives.

Other survivors include two children, Kenny (Janelle) Flaharty of Troy, Karen (Steve) Spurgeon of Piqua; two step children, Melissa Lawrence, James "Rob" Lawrence both of Piqua; seven grandchildren, McKenzie, Tyler, Cameron, Zach, Austin, Cody, and Mara.

Chuck worked as a custodian for Piqua City Schools for thirty-four years. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR as well as attending tractor pulls. He also enjoyed spending time fishing and attending the flea markets whenever he could.

A private service to honor his life will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
