Charles R. Asbury, 71, of Sidney, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 at his residence. He was born on November 19, 1954, in Piqua, to the late Charles B. and Donna (Hixson) Asbury. Charles married Rebecca Fair on December 29, 1997 in Fort Myers, Florida; and she survives.
Survivors include five children, Tiffany (Phil Mowell) Craft of Sidney, Robert (Jaklyn) Asbury of Piqua, Bridget (Tim) Stewart of Sidney, William (Kelli) Stine of Sidney, Robert Stine of Sidney; sixteen grandchildren, Makenzie, Alli, Rebecca, Parker, Baylee, Addyson, Jonathan, James, Mallory, Conner, Elizabeth, Carsen, Colten, Cayden, Payton, Bryce and sister, Jean (David Graham) Michael. He was preceded in death by brother, Dick Asbury and sister, Betty Graham.
Charles retired from Honda of America in Anna after 25 years working as production staff. He was an avid outdoors man, who enjoyed fishing, farming and hunting. Charles would spend his time gardening and doing woodworking. He enjoyed traveling to Florida in the winter with his wife, Rebecca. Charles was a family man, who loved spending time with his family.
A service to honor his life will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Chris Heckaman officiating. Burial will follow at Pearl Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2025 at the funeral home.
