CAROLYN SUE PEMBERTON

Carolyn S. Pemberton, 74, of Piqua, passed away at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was born June 29, 1951 in Urbana to the late Wilmer L. and Nellie B. (Black) Pemberton.

Carolyn is survived by two siblings, Walter (Karen) Pemberton of Casstown, and Barbara Pemberton of Piqua; her sister in law, Nancy Pemberton of Springfield; also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Pemberton.

Carolyn was a graduate of Jonathan Alder High School, Class of 1969. Carolyn was a Math Teacher in the Covington School District and retired with over 30 years of hard work and dedication to her students. She was a longtime, faithful member of the Piqua Church of the Nazarene, and served as the Treasurer there for some time. Carolyn lived a private, peaceful life and liked to keep things simple. She will certainly be missed.

Carolyn will be interred privately alongside her parents at Fair View Cemetery in Mutual, Ohio. Funeral arrangements are being handled through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
