Carol Frederica Mary Davey Campbell, age 90, of Piqua, was born on June 9, 1935 in Earlswood, Surrey England and passed away peacefully at Ohio Hospice on March 22, 2026 surrounded by her family. Carol married her late husband, Richard “Dick” Campbell on July 5, 1958, together they have three children, Richard Campbell of Florida, Iain & Virginia Campbell of West Virginia and Fiona Campbell of Clayton Ohio.
Carol was known for her passion in service to the community to include a nursing career that spanned more than 40 years at Piqua Memorial Hospital Premier Health, where she served as an emergency room nurse. She was a member of the Altar Guild and Lunch with God at St James Episcopal Church, where she has been a lifetime member. She has also been an active participant with a local Knitting Circle until just a few weeks before her passing, creating prayer shawls given to those in need.
In addition to her children, Carol is survived by her brother Peter & Carole Davey of Piqua Ohio, Grandchildren, Bradly Campbell, Amy Terry, Benjamin & Anna Campbell, Margaret Campbell, Moira & Ben Datu, Morgan & Robert Crow, Madalynn Campbell, Devon Akter, Charlyze Campbell, twelve great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Carol's Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, at St. James Episcopal Church, 200 W. High St., Piqua, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 11, 2026, also at St. James Episcopal Church, 200 W. High St., Piqua, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Carol to St. James Episcopal Church.
