Beverly A. Hemm, 93, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 7:54 a.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Garbry Ridge Assisted Living. She was born February 25, 1932 in Fremont to the late Clifford and Anne (McKnight) Berger. She married Edward H. “Dick” Hemm June 23, 1956 in St. Boniface Catholic Church. He preceded her in death April 22, 2013.
Survivors include two sons, Jack (Robyn) Hemm of Piqua, Doug (Karen) Hemm of Troy; two daughters, Kelly Hemm of Dayton, Margee (Scott) Zimpher of Piqua; eight grandchildren, Trevor (Janaki) Hemm, Hayley (Mike) Willey, Colton (Carly) Hemm, Paige Anderson, Zach (Kailey) Zimpher, Blake Zimpher, Justin Hemm, Trenton Hemm; seven great grandchildren, Kayla, Jack, Sam, Rowan, Brooks, Hayden, Camden; and a brother, Hank Berger of Piqua. She was preceded in death by a brother, John “Jack” Berger.
Mrs. Hemm was a graduate of Piqua Central High School and attended Miami Jacobs College. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed keeping herself active and enjoyed taking her daily walks. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. She was a dedicated homemaker who devoted herself to her family whom she loved deeply.
A service to honor her life will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. Eric Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:30-1:30 p.m. Friday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Broadway, Piqua, OH 45356.
