Betty is survived by four children, Gary (Gloria) Keller of St. Paris, Brenda (Ed) Hunter of Abilene, Texas, Terri (Todd) Bayle of Clymer, New York, and Paul Keller of Piqua; eleven grandchildren, Joseph (Fernanda) Keller, Eden (Micah) Cornett, Bethany (Andrew) Simpson, Joshua Keller, Sarah Keller, Samuel (Valarie) Keller, Joseph Hunter, Benjamin (Maci) Hunter, Elysha (Michael) Trego, Abigail Bayle, and Jeremy Bayle; 18 great grandchildren; her sister, Joan Emmert of Ligonier, Pennsylvania; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her great grandson, Josiah Trego; and two sisters, Eleanor and Vivian.
Betty loved the Lord with all her heart and attended the Grace Gospel Church. She enjoyed playing the piano and was a skilled Hawaiian steel guitar player in her younger years. She loved to sing and could be heard singing and worshipping the Lord everywhere she went. She enjoyed her role of homemaker always tastefully decorating her home, keeping everything neat and tidy. Her children and grandchildren considered her a wonderful cook and baker. Some of her family favorites were her mac and cheese, coleslaw, various pies and her chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. Terri learned how to make Betty's excellent cinnamon roll recipe as well. Even with her skills in the kitchen, Betty still enjoyed getting out and about and going to restaurants with her son, Paul. Above all else, she will be remembered for her devotion to the Lord and the love she had for her family.
A service to honor Betty's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with her son in law, Ed Hunter officiating. A graveside service for Betty will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2025 at Beechwood Cemetery in Lockington.
