BETTY J. FOGT

Betty J. Fogt, 98, of Piqua, joined her Lord and Savior at 5:00 a.m. Friday November 10, 2023 at the Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was born September 17, 1925 in Piqua to the late Lawrence L. and Dorothy M. (Hess) Asher. She married Adrian K. Fogt May 17, 1941 in Sidney; he preceded her in death May 5, 2004.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, and a half-sister.

Betty attended Piqua City Schools and worked as an Assembler at Robbins & Meyers Company before working at Piqua Products and eventually as a Beautician having retired in 1975. She was a devout member of St. John Lutheran Church and active with the American Legion 184 Auxiliary. She will be remembered for her faith, friendship and quiet positive influence.

A service to honor her life will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Paul McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
