BESSIE FAE PERKINS

Bessie Fae (Cotrell) Perkins, 83, of Piqua, passed away at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Brookdale of Troy. She was born October 15, 1939 in Piqua to the late Ned Edward and Lillie Bell (White) Cotrell. She married Terry Perkins, Sr. July 7, 1956 in Piqua; and he preceded her in death August 13, 1990.

Survivors include three children, T.J. (Angie) Perkins of Greenville, Pam (Travis) Brannon, Jackie (Michael) Russell both of Piqua; nine grandchildren, Kitsey, Misty, Dustin, Tim, Brandon, Julia, Terry, Trenton, Tanner; thirteen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Edward Cotrell, Perry Eugene Cotrell; and a sister, Kathy Davis.

Mrs. Perkins worked for over 30 years as a forklift operator for Copeland Corporation before her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, was an incredible line dancer, and loved to spend her time camping and was an avid swimmer. She loved her family deeply and cherished the time she was able to spend with her beloved grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

A service to honor her life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Caretenders Hospice 2621 Dryden Rd.
