ARVINDA S. BHATT

Arvinda S. Bhatt, 89, of Troy, died at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2024 in the comfort of her home. She was born May 2, 1935 in India to the late Dalpatram and Mayaben Derasari. She married Shashikant Bhatt January 19, 1957 in India; and he preceded her in death March 18, 2015.

Survivors include a daughter, Dipti (Dipak) Shah of Troy; two grandchildren, Ugam (Saloni Mehta) Shah, Dhaval Shah; a great granddaughter, Sia Shah; and a sister, Ranjanben Shukla of India. She was preceded in death by a son, Tushar Bhatt; a brother, Harindra Derasari; and a sister, Padmaben Joshi.

Mrs. Arvinda Bhatt was a loving and caring sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her comforting spirit and cooking fostered an environment of love and laughter. Arvinda was an active member in the community and the Swadhyay Group.

Her support and guidance helped her family to move from India to America and exceed expectations by any measure of the imagination. Her life will undoubtedly continue to inspire her family and community for generations to come.
