ANTHONY M. “TONY” BAYMAN
Anthony M. “Tony” Bayman, 59, of Piqua, passed away suddenly Sunday, June 6, 2021 at his residence. He was born January 22, 1962 in Piqua to the late Robert W. and Phyllis J. (Sink) Bayman. He married Nicole M. Clark February 2, 2002 in Piqua, a marriage which would span twenty years, and she survives.
Other survivors include four children, Jessica Bayman (Gearhardt) of Piqua, Jakob (Emily) Bayman of Cincinnati, Whitney Elders of Piqua, Neil Bayman of Piqua; four grandchildren, Dylon Bayman, Lillian Gearhardt, Lincoln Gearhardt, and Jamisen Smith; a sister, Julie Bayman of Piqua; father-in-law, Richard Clark of Piqua; sister-in-law, Lisa Cantrell of Springfield, brother-in-law, Randy Clark of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Krysta Long, mother-in-law Alma Clark, and a brother-in-law Jack Cantrell.
Tony was a graduate of Piqua High School and employed as a Sales Representative at Sherry’s Automobile Dealership. Tony enjoyed a long career as a professional auctioneer, automobile dealer, and realtor. In 1999 Tony was honored as the State of Ohio Auctioneer Champion by the Ohio Auctioneers Association. Tony worked alongside his father for many years at Bayman Auto Sales and Auctioneering. He was a long time active member of St. John's Lutheran Church where he served on many committees and as its Council President. He was a proud member of the Warren Masonic Lodge #24 of Piqua. He was an avid concert and music lover and spent many years in local choirs. He had a friend in every corner of the earth and would always make time for them. He had a great appreciation for farming and livestock involving his children and grandchildren. Tony’s biggest love was his family including taking family vacations and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved to cook and share family meals. He will be forever loved and missed by family and friends.
A service to honor his life will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church with Pastor Ronald Green officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
