Anna L. Davis, 78, of St. Marys, more recently of Sidney, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family Friday, May 9, 2025 at Hospice of Miami County. She was born January 16, 1947 in Cincinnati to the late Grover and Sally (Garland) Houser. She married Barry Dean Davis February 15, 1971 in Greenville; and he preceded her in death June 23, 2011.
Survivors include two children, Barry (Crystal) Davis of Piqua, Sally Latimer of Sidney; seven grandchildren, Justis, Kirsten, Mya, Jonathan, Sadie, Jazmine; sixteen great grandchildren; a brother, John (Maribell) Garland of Greenville; and two sisters, Betty (Larry) Supinger, and Alice Johnson all of Greenville. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Houser; a sister, Lena Barnes; a son-in-law, Brett Latimer; a granddaughter, Celeste; and a grandson, Tristan.
Mrs. Davis was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family tremendously. She and her late husband were the former owners of Barry’s Skateland and enjoyed roller skating as well as traveling to various roller rinks and skate clubs to skate with their industry friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed books and magazines of all kinds. She was very much an outdoors person who absolutely loved basking in the sunshine. She enjoyed spending time at the lakes, enjoying walks and sharing picnics with her family. She will be deeply missed by her loving family.
A private graveside service to honor her life will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
