Angela "Patsy" R. Doringo, 66, of Piqua, passed away at 4:38 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born June 7, 1958 in Medina, Philippines to the late Tom and Gerry (Del Rio) Reyes. She married Jesus "Jess" Doringo April 11, 1981 in Medina, Philippines, and he survives.
Angela is also survived by her daughter, Ela (Nate) Roof of Piqua; three grandchildren, Adrea, Raelynn, and Jack; nine siblings, Herman (Michele) Reyes of Piqua, Carmela (Ruben) Bayron of Japan, Rev. Antonio (Arlene) Reyes of the Philippines, Annie (Ron) Williams of Piqua, Ramon (Bev) Reyes of Piqua, Mylene (Alvin) Huerto of the Philippines, Christine Reyes of Piqua, Venus (Mike) Soliday of Piqua, and Josefina (Brian) Ferree of Piqua; five sisters in law, Carmen, Flora, Gloria, Teresita, and Virginia; also countless other relatives from the Philippines, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the U.K. and the Continental United States, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rey Reyes; her sister, Amy Gerongay; numerous in laws, Domenilito, Maria, Conchita, Jose Jr., Dorothea, and Nenita; and her nephew, Gregory Reyes.
Patsy worked for many years as a Nursing Assistant at Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was a very good volleyball player, and she loved to sing karaoke and even sang on television in the Philippines. She took great pride in keeping her home neat and tidy, and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Patsy loved to travel, and cherished spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing the video game 'Animal Crossing' with her younger family members and making that connection with them.
A service to honor Patsy's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2025 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (300 W. Mason Rd., Sidney) with Pastor Arthur Casci officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home, and also Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church.
