JUANITA “NAN” TURNER
Juanita “Nan” Turner, 90, of Piqua, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at 5:20 pm Tuesday February 6, 2018 at the Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was born September 17, 1927 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky to the late James W. and Anna (Sanders) Miller.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue Miller of Piqua; five grandchildren, Jana (Scott) Kloecker, Tanita “Shawn” (Matt) Brock, Jeff (Brandi) Miller, Joely (Artie) Rudy, Anthony (Shelley) Miller; fourteen great grandchildren, Jason, Chelsea, Coby, Jatasha, Caelen, Alyssa, Brandon, Caleb, Josh, Jessica, Jalisha, Brooke Ann, Brittney, Briley; and fourteen great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy and Douglas; and three sisters, Wilma, Opal and Lucille.
Nan was a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a phenomenal cook and loved to cook for anyone and everyone. Her family was the most important aspect of her life and she loved them dearly. She will be missed for her amazing sense of humor and her light hearted attitude.
A service to honor her life will begin at 3 pm Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Keith Gebhart officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm Friday at the funeral home. Private interment will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity in Nan’s honor.
