Deloris A. “Dee” Crusoe, 77, of Troy, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at 12:01 am Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in the comfort of her residence after a courageous battle of lung cancer. She was born April 9, 1941 in Greenville to the late Leonard and Mary (Smith) Bolyard. She married Randy C. Crusoe November 24, 1995 in Greenville and he survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Kim (Rick) Blaine of Brookville, Lisa (Larry) Floyd of Eaton; two stepsons, Aaron Crusoe, Ben Crusoe both of Piqua; four grandchildren, Stewart (Lisa) Blaine, Sam (Emily) Blaine, Ben Floyd, Emily Floyd; three great grandchildren, Ruby, Ava, Clark; a sister, Judy (Larry) Williams; and a brother-in-law, Larry Paul. She was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Paul.

Mrs. Crusoe was a 1959 graduate of Greenville High School and a graduate of Edison State Community College with a associates degree in business. She worked as a buyer for the Fram Corporation from which she retired in 1993 and later as an assistant manager for Honda, from which she retired in 2002. She was a member of Ginghamsburg Church. In January of 2012 after learning of her lung cancer, she joined the Noble Circle Project, a cancer support group for women that inspired her to thrive on a daily basis. Dee was also active in two other lung cancer support groups in Columbus and one in Springfield. In her younger years she was an avid golfer, enjoyed bicycling, and gardening flowers and vegetables. She was active in bible study as well as the Red Door Book Club. She loved spending time with her family especially taking trips with them. She was a lover of animals, especially her two cats. She also enjoyed practicing the art of Qigong. She was a selfless person who was always putting the needs of others before her own. She was a wonderful person who will be remembered for her loving attitude and positive outlook.
