DAVID A. VOLLETTE

David A. Vollette, 46, formerly of Piqua, more recently of Reynoldsburg, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at his residence. He was born January 15, 1972 in Miami County to David E. and Cheryl E. (Dayhuff) Vollette, who survive in Piqua.

Dave was a 1991 graduate of Piqua High School and graduated from Hocking College. His career of customer service brought him to the Motivate International Organization of Columbus. Additionally, he showed dogs for competition, was a breeder and an international Judge of dogs. On two occasions, he was awarded the Best of Breed distinction for Labradors at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City. He will be remembered for his love of life, family, many friends, his home town of Piqua and generous spirit.

A service to honor his life will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2018 at The Valley Church, 1400 Seidel Pkwy. Piqua, with Rev. Andy Monnin officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
